Village of colors: Guatapé - Colombia
Guatapé is a
municipality in the department of Antioquia in Colombia, and it is a beautiful
place full of colors, great landscapes and a lot of tranquility. It is close to
a “ Embalse - El Peñol” and “El Peñol” stone which is a 220 meter monolith
(like the Pão de Açúcar in Brazil), there are many activities and water sports
to do but also the possibility of knowing the gastronomy and daily life of an
antioqueño town. Every time i can i go to visit him, i walk through all its
stone streets admiring the colorful houses, eat arepa with chorizo and agua
panela, and i sit in the square to talk. The weather is perfect, very spring
(all year) so you will not feel cold or hot, people are the most special thing
about this place, they are very kind and will be happy to visit you.
